The biggest creative challenge: how do you portray ritual and routine when you only have a day and a half to shoot?
 
We leaned into filming at every hour of the day, then used thoughtful editing, sound design, and music to create the feeling of time passing over multiple days.

Carried the visual language of the film from start to finish with a high-frame-rate camera and a 3.5mm lens. That combination gave the project an energy and perspective that felt true to Paul's approach to the outdoors.
